Job Description
Seeking Welders and Metal fabricators looking to become technical instructors at WyoTech, a premier technical trade school located in Laramie, WY. No teaching experience required. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional to expand his or her career through training tomorrow’s Welders and Fabricators. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in the Welding and Fabricating industry.
- Course and Curriculum development, project development, and project management.
- Must be proficient in SMAW GMAW, FCAW, GTAW.
- Must have experience in Custom Fabrication, Reading Blueprints, Cutting Techniques, and CNC usage.
- Positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pick up on software used in an educational environment and be able to efficiently use computers.
- AWS, API, CIC, etc. certifications or other industry certifications are a plus.
- Sign on bonus and relocation assistance also offered.
Day-to-Day Instructor Responsibilities
- Become proficient in learning/utilizing the grading software.
- Work with students not only in the classroom but the hands-on portion in the shop.
- The instructor will be responsible for lecturing on hands-on related materials.
